A fitness campaign by one of the Centre’s support team has helped to raise funds for a very worthwhile cause. Claire Morton, PA/Admin Support for WCFM, completed her first Great North Run as part of this year’s event, netting £664 for Alzheimer’s Research.
Lakeside Christmas lunches
Christmas lunches at Wilton Centre’s restaurant will be held on 18 and 19 December.
Children’s choir Tees Valley Voices will be getting Wilton Centre into the Christmas spirit at a special event for tenants.
Coffee morning success
Wilton Centre took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee morning on 27 September and raised £350 for Macmillan. Over 120 people attended the event organised by Centre caterers Taylor Shaw and Wilton Centre Facilities Management.
The Centre will once again be supporting the Poppy Appeal. Poppies and donation boxes will be situated around the Wilton Centre from late October.
Christmas wishes poster
Anyone wanting to wish their colleagues a Happy Christmas can head to the E1 entrance where they can include their message on a poster and make a donation in lieu of the cost of sending cards. All monies raised will be donated to the MS Society and Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice.
